New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is the first step of your educational experience at Rhodes State College. Due to this, all students are expected to attend an orientation before beginning classes. This informative program serves as an essential transition to life as a college student. Our goal is to provide you and your guests with an overview of resources on campus while connecting you with faculty and staff members who will work with you beyond orientation.

At the conclusion of orientation, Academic Advisors will help you register for classes. To ensure there are no issues during registration, students must have qualifying ACT/SAT scores or have completed a placement test in subject area without qualifying scores. For more information on qualifying scores visit Placement Testing Guidelines.

In order to participate in orientation, you must register to attend an orientation that is specific to the major you have chosen.
