Intercollegiate Heroin and Opiate Prevention Education (IHOPE) Symposium

The heroin and opiate epidemic has hit our state hard during the last couple of years. An Intercollegiate Heroin and Opiate Prevention Education (IHOPE) symposium will be held Tuesday, September 26th at the UNOH Event Center. This event is open to all area college students and will feature Tony Hoffman, Pro BMX Competitor and Recovering Addict as the main speaker. Several breakout sessions will take place throughout the day for students to choose from including QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Suicide Prevention Training. Breakfast and Lunch are provided for students that attend the entire day training. Drawings for prizes will take place throughout the day. Local resources will be on site as well.
