17th Annual Rhodes State College Tee Off for Scholarships set for July 29

LIMA (July 25, 2016) – The 17th Annual Rhodes State Tee Off for Scholarships is Friday, July 29, 8 a.m., at Colonial Golfers Club, 10985 Harding Highway (St. Rt. 309), Harrod.

Championship sponsors for this year’s Tee Off are:  Lima Memorial Health System, McGohan Brabender, Quest Federal Credit Union, the Rhodes State College Board and the Rhodes State College Foundation Board.

Over the past 16 years, the Rhodes State College Foundation has awarded 1,645 scholarship awards to students totaling almost $1.8 million. More than $326,000 of this amount was raised through the Tee Off. Foundation scholarships are available and awarded to students each year.

New to the Tee Off this year is an online auction.  The auction is accessible through www.RhodesState.edu with items donated by area businesses and organizations. It will remain open for bids to 11 a.m., July 29.
