Lima, Ohio (November 12, 2020) -- In honor of National Apprenticeship Week, Rhodes State College, together with its partner GROB Systems, Inc., recognized 15 apprentices at GROB today, Thursday, November 12, 2020. The apprentices have completed the required on-the-job training hours to be qualified as a journeyperson Industrial Machinist System Technician. Certificates of completion of their apprenticeship were issued by the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council at today’s ceremony.

“Rhodes State College in partnership with GROB Systems, Inc. is pleased to recognize the apprentices who have completed their program during National Apprenticeship Week, November 8-14, 2020,” said Tammy Eilerman, Director of Advanced Manufacturing at Rhodes State. “This event is part of a nationwide celebration showcasing the impact apprenticeship programs have on addressing the U.S. skills gap.”

“Our apprenticeship at GROB has been an integral part of our company for 30 years,” said Mark Reed, Apprentice Training Supervisor at GROB Systems, Inc. “We are happy to recognize the accomplishments of our apprentices in earning their journeyperson certificates and show our appreciation for their efforts over their four years of apprenticeship.”
