Rhodes State College Hosting Superintendents’ Summit

Lima, Ohio (October 30, 2018) - Rhodes State College will host a Superintendents’ Summit on Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 9:00 to noon in the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center at Rhodes State College, 4240 Campus Drive, Lima Ohio. The focus of this Summit is the College Credit Plus program, which offers students in 7th through 12th grade the opportunity to take college courses while in High School. Approximately 75 superintendents, principals, treasurers, and counselors are expected to attend, representing over 35 area schools.

Topics to be covered include performance indicators for current CCP students enrolled at Rhodes State College, along with legislation that applies to this program, faculty credentialing, and academic pathways CCP students can follow to pursue degree programs. Information about academic support services, such as college readiness and early alert systems, will also be covered.

Media representatives are invited to meet with Rhodes State College representatives in the lobby of the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
