Rhodes State College Seeks Outstanding Alumni Nominations

LIMA, Ohio - Nominations are open now through February 17 for the Rhodes State College 2017 Outstanding Alumni Award.  Community members are encouraged to nominate graduates of Rhodes State College or Lima Technical College who are distinguished in their profession, demonstrate service to the community, and/or provide outstanding contributions to Rhodes State College.  The recipient will be honored through a named Outstanding Alumni Scholarship and be recognized at the 2017 Rhodes State College Commencement in May.

The 2016 Rhodes State College Outstanding Alumni Award recipient, Jane P. Krites, is a 1987 graduate of the Nursing Program and holds a BS in Business Administration and a MBA from Defiance College. Krites served as a nurse for 20 years with St. Rita's Health Partners and held leadership positions with Girl Scouts for 24 years. Currently, Krites serves on the Rhodes State College Board of Trustees and the Rhodes State College Foundation Board and volunteers for numerous community organizations.

Over 17,000 students have completed degrees at Rhodes State College or Lima Technical College. They are “improving the quality of life in our region and far beyond. We applaud their great accomplishments and are honored to accept nominations for this prestigious award,” stated Kevin L. Reeks, Executive Director of Development at Rhodes State.
