During the Summer Semester, the Rhodes State Tutoring Center is open Monday-Thursday between 8 AM and 5 PM. If you are seeking in-person tutoring support, please contact tutoring@rhodesstate.edu.

Peer tutors are successful students who know what you are going through first-hand and are dedicated to helping you succeed. They have been recommended by a professor and are trained in tutoring.

Professional tutoring is also available for general study skills, as well as subject-specific tutors.

Rhodes State College has two online tutoring options available 24/7 at no cost to enrolled students.

Tutor.com is available 24/7 for drop-ins or appointments and is accessible from the left side menu in all Canvas courses and communities. Instructions for accessing the service are available via video or the how-to guide. Technical Support for Tutor.com is available online or by emailing studentsupport@tutor.com

The Ohio eTutoring Consortium is an online alternative to Tutor.com. The eTutoring Consortium offers tutoring, by availability, for most general education courses.

Faculty members can access a Tutor.com dashboard and analytics, which provide information on which students have utilized tutoring and the topics covered.

Rhodes State Tutoring is available to provide feedback on your papers. Feedback will include suggestions on grammar and content. Papers are reviewed during campus business hours. Tutors will receive after-hours submissions on the next business day. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response to your submission.
